I have thoroughly tested out the record player and it works as good as can be expected. Keep in mind that these players were not great even when new. They tend to sound 'chipmunky' and/or warbley. You need to be sure to use a brand new battery, and you need to make sure you have a good connection with the battery terminals. As long as you keep that in mind it will work fine. I tested all the records and they all worked. Sometimes you have to pop them in and out of the player a few times to get them to line up properly, but I got every selection on every disc to play. I did notice that the defensive plays on the QB Sneak disc are not labeled correctly (the mold must have been out of alignment when they pressed it). However the play selections are all on the disc, just not in the right order. One nice thing about this edition is that the play results are all listed in the back of the instructions. So even if you can't get it a particular play to engage sometimes, you can still keep the game moving along. Overall I would grade the game parts 5 on a 10 scale (see condition guide below).
